CAN I DONATE IN HONOR OR MEMORY OF A LOVED ONE?

Yes, if you are honoring a specific BAYS member, please enter her name in the notes section of the Network for Good online form, or on the memo line of your check. You may also send an email to BAYS at bayareayoungsurvivors@yahoo.com to specify the purpose of your donation. BAYS will notify any member in whose honor a donation has been made.


WILL I RECEIVE AN ACKNOWLEDGMENT ?

Yes, all donations made through Network for Good are automatically acknowledged. In addition, BAYS will personally acknowledge each donation, whether through Network for Good or by personal check. All donations to BAYS are completely tax-deductible. Please allow 4-8 weeks for receipt of your acknowledgment letter or email.


What are my donations to BAYS used for ?

BAYS is fortunate to have an all-volunteer board of directors and donated meeting space. However, BAYS has modest operating expenses such as insurance, website development and maintenance, outreach materials, support group meeting food and paper goods, community-building events, and childcare.

BAYS Co-Founders Deb Mosley (1968-2008) and Angela Padilla originated the annual BAYS Challenge Event to raise public awareness of breast cancer in young women and to raise funds for local cancer organizations. Find out more about our past Challenge Events.
